Tips: Sales Presentations
The following tips can help you "close the deal" the next time you are making a sales presentation.
- Get and hold your prospect's attention by choosing your words carefully. Some of the most persuasive selling words include you, money, save, results and guarantee.
- Sell the benefits. Tell the prospect how your product or service will save him money, help him be more productive, etc.
- Focus on the uniqueness of your service or product. Why choose your company over a competitor?
- Tell stories of clients who have had success with your products or services.
- Give the prospect an opportunity to ask questions.
- Before leaving, ask the prospect if he is ready to make the purchase. If he is not ready, suggest a next step in the process.
- Be prepared for objections. Rehearse your presentation and practice responding to the objections that will arise.
